Consortium Management

Federally-regulated employees like truck drivers, rail workers or mechanics and pilots are required by the DOT to be randomly tested for drug and alcohol abuse. In a larger company, you may arrange for your employees to be randomly selected from a company-wide pool. Smaller companies, or employers  who don't want this added responsibility, choose to group their workers with other employers in a consortium.

We have a random testing consortium available to better serve your needs. Our testing complies systems with DOT regulations.

  1. Lower Columbia Occupational Health (LCOH) is designed for employers with more than 5 employees affected by the DOT regulations. We combine employees from multiple companies to create a pool for random selection. We draw the required 50% for drug testing and 10%  for breath alcohol testing. Employers pay for each test performed.

LCOH is not just any Consortium.

Unlike some occupational health programs, Lower Columbia Occupational Health does not charge to manage the consortium on behalf of the members.  You pay only if randomly selected to test.  We do not charge any management fees. Contact us today to enroll in our consortium for DOT-mandated random drug screening.
